The advice in these manuals can come in?handy. I haven?t had to perform any pet first aid on my felines; but with my dogs, I have had to bandage paw injuries, deal with seizures, and?deal with?insect bites that?ballooned one dog?s face to twice its size. In some of these instances, seconds counted and thankfully,?I was able to provide some first aid for my pets before loading them into the car and driving to the vet?s office.
